Dried Balaton Cherries

Dried Balaton cherries are a tasty diversion from our dried red tart cherries. They are a dark purple cherry, loaded with great flavor, somewhere between the dark sweets and the red tarts in taste. Try them, you won't be disappointed. Available in a 3.5 oz, 1 pound, or 4 pound zip seal bag. These cherries originated around Lake Balaton in Hungary, and have been cultivated around the Grand Traverse region in Michigan for about 20 years. They are a welcomed addition to our online store. They are lightly sweetened to help keep them soft and moist.

Please note: these are not the same as our Dried Red Tart Cherries - They do have a distinctively different taste.
